Bangladesh, July 24 -- Former Bangladesh Army officer Mozaffar Hossain was brought before the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on Thursday in connection with a case over alleged crimes against humanity during the July mass uprising.Geographic Reference

Mozaffar was taken to ICT-2 at around 9:20am and later placed in the tribunal's lock-up, according to officials.

The tribunal on July 21 ordered authorities to produce him beforethe court following an application by Chief Prosecutor Md Aminul Islam.

The case, Miscellaneous Case No. 1/26, was filed by the chief prosecutor, with retired Lieutenant General Masud Uddin Chowdhury, former lawmaker from Feni-3, also named as an accused.
