Bangladesh, Oct. 27 -- Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md Abdus Salam has warned that strict administrative action will be taken against officials and employees found negligent in delivering civic services.

"Access to civic services is a fundamental right of citizens," he said, urging residents to report any negligence by DSCC officials or employees and any failure to address their needs.

Salam made the remarks while chairing an exchange of views with residents of wards 15 to 21 at the auditorium of the corporation's Kalabagan Green Road Staff Quarter in the capital on Monday.

"Strict administrative action will be taken against those concerned immediately if such complaints are received," he added.
