Bangladesh, Oct. 6 -- Dr. B.K. Ghosh, former Director of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) in Mymensingh, has been appointed Member (Planning) of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC).

The Ministry of Science and Technology made the appointment through an office order on Sunday.

Dr. Ghosh joined the BAEC as a medical officer in 1994 and has since served in the field of nuclear medicine for more than three decades.

He has played a leading role in the development of nuclear medicine in Bangladesh and has been working to advance therapeutic nuclear medicine.
