DMP files 2,160 cases against traffic violators
Bangladesh, July 21 -- The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Traffic Division has filed 2,160 cases against vehicles for violating traffic laws during a citywide enforcement drive.
According to a press release of DMP on Monday, the drive was conducted across different areas of Dhaka on Sunday as part of ongoing efforts to maintain traffic discipline in the capital.
According to the DMP Traffic Division, Mirpur Traffic Division recorded the highest number of cases with 331, followed by Tejgaon with 330 and Motijheel with 318.
