Bangladesh, Aug. 31 -- Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu has assured that those responsible for the killing of four members of a family, including retired teacher Ganapati Chakraborty, in Rangpur will face exemplary punishment.

The government remains committed to a "zero tolerance" policy against all forms of killing, the minister said while visiting the residence of the slain retired teacher in Machuapara area of Rangpur city on Sunday. Eight days after the killings, Dulu visited the scene and spoke with the bereaved family members, assuring them that the investigation would be completed quickly and the perpetrators brought to justice.
