Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- The number of dengue cases is rising steadily in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla. In the last 24 hours, 245 people were tested for dengue at the Upazila Health Complex and private facilities, with 37 testing
positive. As of September 22 this year, a total of 1,103 people have been diagnosed with dengue in the upazila.
According to Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Habibur Rahman, 7 of 34 people tested at government facilities and 30 of 211 tested at private facilities in the last 24 hours were found positive.
