Bangladesh, Sept. 3 -- The number of dengue patients is increasing in Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla, a total of 145 people were tested for dengue in the past 24 hours, with 30 testing positive.
According to the latest data issued on Wednesday. Three of them were diagnosed at government facilities and 27 at private facilities.
According to Dr Habibur Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, a total of 678 people have been diagnosed with dengue in Daudkandi so far this year. Of them, 150 were diagnosed at government facilities and 528 at private facilities. The number of dengue cases was 182 in July, 397 in August and 30 in September.
