Bangladesh, Oct. 27 -- Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain has directed engineering officials to take the necessary steps to renovate most of the city's main roads within the next six months.

He gave the directives at a review meeting with the Chief Engineer and executive engineers of the CCC Engineering Department at the corporation's office in Tiger Pass area of the port city on Monday.

He also emphasised identifying existing engineering problems in the city and resolving them promptly, improving the drainage system to address waterlogging, and accelerating ongoing development activities.
