Bangladesh, Oct. 27 -- A Dhaka court on Monday issued a summons asking actress Tanjin Tisha to appear before it in a case that accuses her of threatening a fashion designer to withdraw a previous separate case involving an alleged Tk75,000 saree fraud.

Fashion designer Sanaya Anam Wafiqah Chowdhury filed the case yesterday in the court of Dhaka Executive Magistrate Mahbub-ul-Alam.

After recording the plaintiff's statement, the court directed the accused to appear on 23 November and show cause, according to the complainant's lawyer, Shubhra Sinha Rony.

According to the case, the plaintiff filed a case against the actress at Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on 27 November 2025.
