Bangladesh, June 28 -- A couple was arrested with 100 grams of heroin during a raid on the Dhumketu Express, an intercity train travelling from Rajshahi to Dhaka.
The operation was conducted by the Detective Branch (DB) of the Pakshi Railway Police.
The raid took place at around 12:45am on Friday (June 26), before the train reached Ishwardi Bypass Railway Station under the jurisdiction of Ishwardi Railway Police Station.
The couple was arrested from seats 76 and 77 of coach "Ja" on the moving train.
The arrestees were identified as Mosammat Sajema Begum, 42, and her husband, Md Kajol Ahmed, 43, residents of the Kalyanpur area in Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila.
