Bangladesh, July 6 -- A father whose nine-month-old daughter died after contracting measles has filed a petition with a Dhaka court seeking permission to lodge a criminal case against former chief adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus and three others, alleging negligence in connection with the country's measles outbreak.Maps

Sirajul Islam filed the application on Sunday before the court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam. After recording the complainant's statement, the court kept the matter under consideration and fixed 12 July for issuing its order.
