Bangladesh, April 10 -- BNP candidate Rezaul Karim Badsha has been unofficially elected as a Member of Parliament in by-election to Bogura-6 (Sadar) constituency and BNP candidate Mahmudul Haque Rubel has won the by-election to the Sherpur-3 constituency.
Returning officer of Bogra Md. Fazlul Karim and Returning Officer of Sherpur Md Jahangir Hossain announced the results on Thursday night.
Scenario of Bogura-6
Rezaul Karim Badsha with sheaf of paddy symbol secured 133,931 votes while his nearest rival Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Abidur Rahman got 57,159 votes with weighing scale symbol.
Independent candidate Al-Amin Talukdar, with the cauliflower symbol, bagged 499 votes.
