Bangladesh, Oct. 5 -- The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on Sunday inaugurated the Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Laboratory (BEPRL), creating a national platform for research, collaboration and innovation in the energy and power sector.

Established at BUET with funding support from the Bangladesh Energy and Power Research Council (BEPRC), the laboratory is intended to strengthen research capacity and promote collaboration among researchers and institutions working on energy and power-related challenges.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), BUET, with Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Shariful Islam in the chair.
