Bangladesh, Aug. 21 -- A seminar on nitrogen management, one of the key challenges to sustainable agriculture in Bangladesh and South Asia, was held at the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI) auditorium in Gazipur on Wednesday.

The seminar was titled "Nitrogen Status in South Asian Agriculture: Losses, Use Efficiency and the Potential to Halve Nitrogen Waste."

The seminar was chaired by Dr Md Monwar Karim Khan, president of the Bangladesh Soil Science Society.
