Bangladesh, Oct. 15 -- Bangladesh Open University (BOU) and the National Institute of Biotechnology (NIB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in education, research, training and technology transfer, with a focus on biotechnology and related fields.

The agreement was signed at the conference room of the Ministry of Science and Technology on Tuesday.

Md Anwar Hossain, secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Professor Dr Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, vice-chancellor of Bangladesh Open University, attended the signing ceremony.
