Bomb-making blast injures six, one held
Bangladesh, Sept. 6 -- At least six people were injured when a bomb allegedly exploded while it was being made at an abandoned house in Madaripur Sadar upazila late Thursday night.
The explosion occurred in the Mollabari area of Ward No. 3 under Peyarpur Union, causing panic among local residents. The blast was so powerful that part of the tin roof of the house was blown away.
Madaripur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Azad said police had visited the scene and that legal action would be taken against those involved in the incident. Locals alleged that bombs were being made secretly at the abandoned house of Italy expatriate and local Jubo Dal leader Razzak Molla.
