Bangladesh, Oct. 28 -- The Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) on Tuesday organised a workshop highlighting the need to address systemic risks and restore depositors' confidence to stabilize the country's banking sector.

Titled "Systemic Risk and Restoring Depositors' Trust for Stabilization of the Banking Sector of Bangladesh", the workshop was held at the BIBM campus in Mirpur, as part of the institute's conference programme, said a press release.

Chairman of the BIBM Executive Committee and Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Md. Habibur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the workshop.
