Bangladesh, June 21 -- The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has reportedly prevented an attempt by India's Border Security Force (BSF) to push 20 men, women, and children into Bangladesh through the Chouka border in Shibganj.

The incident occurred near pillar No. 177/2-S in the Chouka border area under Binodpur Union of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district. According to reports, the group is currently staying inside Indian territory along the zero line at the Chouka border.

On-the-spot observations indicated that more than a hundred local residents had gathered at the border and were assisting BGB personnel in preventing the alleged push-in.
