Bangladesh, July 22 -- Bangladesh has renewed its commitment to reducing road crash deaths and injuries by 50 percent by 2030, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam has said.

The minister made the commitment at a United Nations high-level meeting on improving global road safety at the UN headquarters in New York on Monday, July 20.

He said Bangladesh was implementing legal, policy-based and technology-driven measures aligned with the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030.Bangladesh Business Analysis
