Bangladesh, July 23 -- Bangladeshi passport holders can now travel to 35 destinations without obtaining a visa in advance, according to the latest Henley Passport Index.

The London-based citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners prepared the index by assessing 199 passports against 227 travel destinations worldwide.

Bangladesh climbed three places to rank 97th in the latest index. However, the number of destinations offering Bangladeshi citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access has continued to decline.Bangladesh Business Analysis

At the beginning of 2024, Bangladeshi passport holders could travel to 42 destinations without securing a visa in advance. The number fell to 39 in early 2025 and to 37 at the beginning of 2026.
