Bangladesh, Aug. 17 -- Twenty of Ayub Bachchu's most beloved songs were released in new musical arrangements, performed by eight Bangladeshi bands and 12 artistes as part of a tribute project titled 'Uttoradhikar'.

The double-CD album was released on August 16, coinciding with the legendary musician's birth anniversary. The songs are also be available on digital platforms.

Proceeds from the project will be used to establish the Ayub Bachchu Guitar Museum, a long-standing dream of the late musician's family and the Ayub Bachchu Foundation.

Details of the project was announced at a press conference held at The Daily Star office yesterday.
