Bangladesh, July 15 -- Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, composer and music director Armeen Musa has been inducted into the Recording Academy of the United States, the organisation that organises the Grammy Awards, the most prestigious music awards. She herself confirmed the news on Sunday night. Armin Musa's relationship with Grammy is not new.

The song 'Jago Piya' from Berklee Indian Ensemble's 'Shuruat', which was nominated for Best Global Music Album at the 65th Grammy Awards, was written by Armeen Musa's mother, renowned Nazrul musician Nasheed Kamal.
