Bangladesh, April 6 -- Prime Minister's Adviser Mahdi Amin and Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M. Saleh, widely known as Saleh Shibly, have been appointed spokespersons for the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), according to an official notification issued on Sunday.

The Prime Minister's Office stated that the appointment was made under Rule 28(4) of the Rules of Business, 1996, authorising both officials to provide and disseminate official information related to the PMO to the press, media and other platforms. The order takes immediate effect.
