Bangladesh, July 29 -- Model and actress Snigdha Chowdhury has alleged that she was physically tortured after being called to talk about a contract to act in an advertisement. Snigdha has made such allegations against Nazrul Islam Bhuiyan, chairman of the Asian Group.

She said that Nazrul called her on the pretext of a meeting on July 24, abused her, tied her hands and feet and beat her. Snigdha filed a complaint with Khilkhet Police Station on Sunday night in this regard.

At a press conference on Monday evening, Snigdha said that she was called to the Asian Medical College office to sign an advertising contract. After reaching there, she faced an unexpected situation.
