Bangladesh, Aug. 12 -- Amin Rahman, son of world-renowned composer A R Rahman and an aspiring singer, was involved in a road accident in Chennai, India.

The accident occurred near the Kathipara flyover in Guindy, Chennai, in the early hours of Monday.

It is reported that his luxury Porsche collided with a cab, narrowly escaping serious damage.

Amin and a friend were heading towards Chennai city from Koyambedu around 3:30am.

A Wagon-R cab came out of an alley near Olympia Tech Park signal and collided head-on with Amin's Porsche.

After the collision, Amin and the cab driver were taken to local Kaveri Hospital.
