Bangladesh, May 20 -- In a heart-wrenching incident that has shocked the community of Pallabi, Mirpur, a seven-year-old girl named Lamisa was killed in a brutal attack involving the slitting of her throat.

Her grieving family has alleged that the child was raped before being beheaded, accusing a tenant from the neighbouring flat of the atrocity.

The horrific murder is reported to have taken place around 11:00 AM on Tuesday at a residence in B Block, Section 11, within the jurisdiction of the Pallabi Police Station.

The victim, Lamisa, was the beloved daughter of Abdul Hannan Molla, a rickshaw mechanic, and his wife, Parveen, a housewife.
