Bangladesh, Sept. 30 -- The government has withdrawn 68 assistant commissioners (land), known as AC Lands, from their posts and attached them as senior assistant commissioners to the offices of divisional commissioners.

These include the divisional commissioner's offices of Barishal, Sylhet, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Dhaka and Rangpur. The order was issued through separate notifications from the Field Administration-1 branch of the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday.

According to the notification, the officers concerned had been serving as assistant commissioner (land) at their respective postings.
