Bangladesh, Sept. 8 -- The dengue situation in Kishoreganj has deteriorated, with 32 new dengue patients hospitalised in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 28 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.

The information was revealed in the latest dengue report released by the Kishoreganj Civil Surgeon's Office on Monday.

According to the report, a total of 795 dengue cases have been recorded in the district from January to September 7 this year. Of them, 706 patients have returned home after receiving treatment. So far, no deaths from dengue have been reported in the district. Currently, 89 dengue patients are admitted to and receiving treatment at various government hospitals and medical colleges in the district.
