Bangladesh, July 4 -- The 250 million tree plantation and maintenance programme is expected to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for around 350,000 people, offering significant prospects for the country's development, Tahsina Rushdir Luna, MP for the Sylhet-2 (Osmaninagar-Bishwanath) constituency said. The programme is not only aimed at increasing forest cover but also at building a sustainable future by conserving the environment and mitigating the adverse impacts of climate change.
