Bangladesh, Aug. 28 -- A case has been filed with Bhairab Model Police Station three days after the murder of former councillor and banned Awami Jubo League Bhairab upazila unit General Secretary Al-Amin Saikat, 42.

The deceased's wife, Tania Khanam, filed the case as the plaintiff on Wednesday night. The complaint named eight people and 10-15 unidentified people as accused.

Bhairab Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbubur Rahman said the deceased's wife filed the case on Wednesday, three days after the incident. "The complaint named eight people and made 10-15 unidentified people accused. Police are trying to arrest the accused. Further legal action will be taken after receiving the autopsy report," he said.
