Bangladesh, June 29 -- Two of the three riders on a motorcycle were killed in a head-on collision with a Hiace passenger microbus on a highway in Chakaria on Sunday. The third rider sustained serious injuries.
The accident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on June 28 in front of Amin's shop at the entrance to Mojaher Para in Baraitali Union under Chakaria Upazila.
The deceased were identified as Md. Mahbub Alam, 25, son of the late Abul Kalam of Mojaher Para, and Md. Russell, also a resident of the same area.
The injured rider, Md. Shahed, younger brother of the deceased Mahbub Alam, was rushed to hospital for treatment.
