Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The government has allocated a total of Tk20 crore as recurring grants to 13 city corporations across the country to ensure primary healthcare services for urban residents in the 2026-27 fiscal year.
The Local Government Division of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives issued an order in this regard on September 13 through its Urban Development-1 wing, according to a press release issued on Wednesday.
The allocation has been made under the recurring grant category from the operating budget of the Local Government Division as assistance for primary healthcare in the city corporations.
