Bangladesh, March 29 -- The government on Sunday appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to 11 districts across the country through a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.

The districts are Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Khulna, Madaripur, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Habiganj, Narsingdi, Meherpur, Lalmonirhat and Bandarban.

According to the notification, Kazi Shahidul Islam, a deputy secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration, has been posted as DC of Rajshahi, while Lutfun Nahar, deputy secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed DC of Chuadanga.
