Bangladesh, Oct. 13 -- After a long 15 years, Bollywood's popular movie 'The Dirty Picture' is back in the news. Producer Ekta Kapoor has confirmed that the sequel will be made.

However, it is not yet confirmed whether Vidya Balan will be in the new movie or not.

The 2011 film 'The Dirty Picture' was a huge success with audiences and critics alike.

Inspired by the life of South Indian actress Silk Smitha, the film starred Vidya Balan in the lead role. It also starred Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.

Vidya also won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film.
