Bangladesh, Sept. 9 -- International Literacy Day 2026 was observed in Narayanganj under the theme "Literacy for People, Planet and Prosperity." The Narayanganj district administration organised a colourful rally and discussion meeting on Tuesday morning at the District Commissioner's Office and its conference room to mark the day.
The rally began from the premises of the District Commissioner's Office. Government officials, teachers, students and people from various walks of life took part, carrying banners, festoons and placards. The procession passed through the city's main roads before ending at the conference room of the District Commissioner's Office.
