Bangladesh, Oct. 1 -- The government expects to resolve most of the land acquisition-related complications for the Dhaka-Sylhet six-lane highway project by October, while construction of the Sylhet section is expected to be completed by 2028, Commerce, Industries and Textiles & Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir said on Wednesday.

The minister said the project is being implemented in phases, covering the Sylhet section as well as areas beyond the Sylhet border .He made the remarks while talking to journalists after inspecting the progress of the six-lane highway construction work in Osmaninagar, Sylhet.

According to the plans of the authorities concerned, the entire highway is expected to be completed between late 2028 and mid-2029...
