Qazigund, April 9 -- Kulgam Police on Thursday sealed two more medical shops in Qazigund for violations under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, as part of an ongoing drive to enforce compliance and ensure public safety.

Officials said police teams from Police Station Qazigund, in coordination with the Drugs Inspector, carried out inspections across pharmaceutical establishments within the jurisdiction. During the drive, several irregularities were detected, prompting immediate action.

Two shops - Shariff Medical Store and Parray Medical Store - were found violating provisions of Section 18 of the Act and were accordingly sealed. Legal proceedings have been initiated as per law.
