Srinagar, May 31 -- Leader of Opposition in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Sunday claimed that the Omar Abdullah-led government was facing serious internal divisions and alleged that attempts were underway to prevent political instability within the ruling establishment.

The remarks signaled a sharp political escalation between the opposition BJP and the ruling National Conference-led dispensation, with Sharma alleging growing discord and questioning the government's cohesion.
