KULGAM, June 3 -- Advocate Zaman Irshad Parray, an advocate at the J&K and Ladakh High Court, has issued an open letter to the youth of Kashmir, urging them to unite and take an active role in shaping the region's future through direct political engagement and democratic participation.

In the letter titled "A Call to Direct Action, Unity, and Self-Determination," Parray stressed the need for greater involvement of young people in political decision-making processes. He expressed concern over what he described as the inability of traditional political parties to effectively represent the aspirations, concerns, and expectations of Kashmir's younger generation.
