Srinagar, April 30 -- Srinagar- A youth was critically injured after falling from a moving train on the Panzgam-Bijbehara railway section in South Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.

An official said that the incident occurred while the train was in motion, leaving the youth seriously injured.

Locals and railway officials rushed to the spot and shifted him to Sub-District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment, he said.

The injured was later identified as Zubair Ahmed Mochi, a resident of Nigeenpora, Qazigund, and is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
