Srinagar, April 16 -- Srinagar- Lieutenant GovernorManoj Sinhaon Thursday said he will not rest until Jammu and Kashmir is freed from the drug menace, announcing that the anti-drug campaign will be launched in Kashmir on May 3.
Addressing a gathering here, Sinha said the administration has intensified its efforts under the 'Nasha Mukt' campaign, which was launched in Jammu on April 11.
"We have decided that we will not rest till we eradicate the drug abuse problem," he said, adding that the movement would now be expanded to Kashmir.
Referring to the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' launched by Prime MinisterNarendra Modiin 2020, the Lieutenant Governor said enforcement agencies in J&K have stepped up action against drug trafficking.
