Widespread Rains Likely Across J&K: MeT
Srinagar, July 5 -- Srinagar- The Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast an increase in rainfall activity across Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, warning of heavy rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds and possible flash floods in vulnerable areas of the Jammu division.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, isolated light rain and thunderstorms are expected over the Kashmir division during the next 24 hours, while fairly widespread light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are likely in the Jammu division.
Rainfall activity is expected to increase during the subsequent two days, with widespread precipitation likely at several places across the Union Territory.
