Srinagar, Sept. 24 -- Day 3 of the J&K Assembly Monsoon Session 2026 saw key discussions on agriculture, healthcare, education and government spending.
The government said 12.89 lakh farmers are covered under crop insurance, while weather-based insurance for apple growers awaits the Centre's approval. The House was also informed that 5.73 lakh ST-II certificates have been issued across J&K.
Other major developments included 6 free LPG cylinders for AAY families, questions over multiple vehicles for officers, and more than 12,000 vacant health posts across the Union Territory.
