Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir, has commenced its International Conference on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for Enhanced Climate Resilience and Livelihoods in the Himalayas, bringing together leading scientists, policymakers, environmental experts, and academicians from across India and abroad.The four-day conference focuses on how nature-based solutions can address climate change, strengthen resilience in the Himalayan region, and promote sustainable livelihoods. The inaugural session was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, along with IUST Vice Chancellor Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo and other distinguished guests.
