Srinagar, Sept. 9 -- Srinagar- Two school children were injured after being hit by a Scorpio vehicle in the Khanetar area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Officials said the accident occurred near Bhainch Petrol Pump when the vehicle allegedly hit the two children as they were crossing the road.

Both injured children were shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment, reported news agency GNS.

Hospital sources said the children are stable and remain under observation.
