Srinagar, July 28 -- Srinagar- President Donald Trump is confronting mounting military and political constraints in the US conflict with Iran after senior commanders reportedly urged a pause in airstrikes, warning that the campaign has reached the limits of what it can achieve without risking a far wider war.

According to Axios, citing two sources familiar with internal deliberations, Commander of US Central Command (CENTCOM) Gen. Brad Cooper recommended halting the bombing campaign around the Strait of Hormuz, arguing that continued limited airstrikes were unlikely to produce meaningful military gains.
