Srinagar, May 5 -- Srinagar- Calling for swift and outcome-oriented governance, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday directed officials to ensure time-bound implementation of Budget announcements for 2026-27, stressing that policy commitments must translate into tangible benefits on the ground.

Chairing a high-level review meeting at the Civil Secretariat, the Chief Minister assessed the status of various Budget proposals across departments and underlined the need for coordinated action, strict adherence to timelines, and efficient service delivery.
