Eid al-Azha enters Kashmir with crowded markets, busy kitchens and families gathering after morning prayers. Children wait for gifts, relatives visit one another and neighbourhoods come alive with celebration.

Eid al-Azha stands on the idea that human beings grow through sacrifice, discipline and compassion. The festival asks people to place faith, honesty and moral duty above selfish desire.
That lesson speaks powerfully to modern society, where personal ambition often takes center stage.
