Srinagar, June 30 -- Srinagar- The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday announced a 14-day summer vacation for all government and recognised private schools across Kashmir division, with the break scheduled from July 6 to July 19.

An order issued by the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) said the decision was taken with the approval of the competent authority.

"It is ordered that all the Government and recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division shall observe summer vacation with effect from July 6 to July 19, 2026," the order reads.
