Srinagar, June 2 -- Srinagar- Srinagar experienced its hottest night of the season, with the minimum temperature settling at 19.2 degrees Celsius, reflecting the ongoing spell of unusually warm weather across Kashmir.

The overnight temperature in the summer capital remained significantly above normal for this time of the year, providing little relief from the heat even after sunset.

According to meteorological data, Qazigund recorded a minimum temperature of 17.6degC, while Kupwara settled at 15.2degC. Kokernag recorded 16.5degC and Pahalgam, traditionally among the coldest places in the Valley during summer, registered a low of 12.4degC.
